Location: A green belt area on the outskirts of London.
Description: The challenge of this project was to design a bigger home on the site of an existing house which would not conflict with surrounding architecture and yet would include modern design features. Due to the proposed use of natural materials and a slight re-orientation of the building, the new house promises to harmonize with and enhance its surroundings. The incorporation of a basement will give additional space without imposing on to the garden area which includes a swimming pool.
